Ultrasound Therapy

Laser Therapy

In this, low level laser is used to encourage healing of soft tissue injuries. It relieves pain and discomfort and like the heat therapy loosens up the tissues making the joint more pliable. This too is used along with manual therapy in soft tissue, muscular and ligament injuries.

Traction Therapy

When the joints get compressed and the cushioning tissues between the bones of the joints are compressed, it can cause excruciating pain and discomfort. This is most often observed in the joints of the vertebrae. Traction is one of the best therapies to gently pull the joints apart and prevent the herniation of discs and pinching of nerves.

Functional Electrical Stimulation Therapy

Electrical stimulation is known as ESTIM in medical language. It is a way to treat muscular injuries. In this therapy, the injured muscles are subjected to light electrical impulses that cause the muscles to contract. This induces those parts of a muscle to work that normally remain dormant. ESTIM is most commonly used on stroke patients and those undergoing knee surgery.

Exercise Therapy

It not only strengthens the joints, increases the functions of the muscles while strengthening them, it also help to reduce pain.
